Introducing Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief- a new product to fight tooth sensitivity.

This toothpaste, which we have offered samples of in our practice, has proven to be unlike any other product we have encountered in terms of fighting tooth sensitivity, bringing instant relief to our patients.

Unlike other products, which contain potassium salts to numb the tooth temporarily, Colgate’s product seem to be more effective at actually sealing tooth pores and stopping sensitivity.

It contains calcium carbonate and arginine, an amino acid naturally found in saliva. These two elements react with the tooth surface to form a solid barrier and eliminate sensitivity. As well, the fluoride content helps strengthen teeth against cavities.

It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to offer a product that could so effectively fight tooth sensitivity; and I am excited to share it with all our patients and friends.

"I recently tried Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief toothpaste at the suggestion of my dentist. I have very small sensitive teeth and they are a particularly challenge for me during the wintertime when skiing or doing outdoor sports. Sensitive Pro Relief toothpaste advertises that it "seals the channels that lead to the nerves" of your teeth and for this reason, I thought I would give it a try as other sensitive toothpastes have not been effective for me."
