Making braces easy

Here are some tips to follow:

1) Clean your teeth a lot. Brush and floss every day.

2) Eat soft and healthy foods. Stay away from sugary, gummy or hard foods.

3) Ask questions. Try to understand from your doctor what is going on in your mouth.

4) Follow your doctor's advice closely. Wear your rubber bands and use prescription mouthwash
as instructed.

5) Participate in most activities and sports as usual. A mouth guard must be worn at all times.

Relax!
All braces are tested, so they are completely safe. If any parts are swallowed, they will simply pass through you in time.

Have fun!
About 70 percent of teenagers need braces. Braces don't stop you from doing most of your usual activities. The less you let braces affect your day, the less you'll notice them.
